It all began with a far-fetched idea and an Instagram poll, if you can believe that! Visiting the Athens Farmers Market in Athens on Saturdays while I was in college, I always appreciated the local artists, and I wondered if I could contribute my own art to such a fantastic group. Imposter syndrome turned down that idea for a while, but once I made my art page and got the gears turning, I made an IG poll and asked some followers if it was worth it and the response was overwhelmingly positive (and I am incredibly grateful for everyone who replied!). That idea and wonder spiraled into applying for a henna art stand at the market, and to this website and business plan, and finally to the founding of this art business that is so close to my heart. Here are some of my favorite handmade works and design, and the stories behind them, from the process of building a strong portfolio to market!
